He’s ready to watch the race

Jason Lafferty didn’t realize the wedding would be that short. But now he says he has time to catch the race.

Jason and Connie just tied the knot. They’ve been together for two years and decided to get married here today after Connie’s mom read in the paper about the upcoming event.

Connie loved the idea of getting married on Valentine’s Day, not only because it’s the most romantic day of the year, but now Jason won’t have an excuse for forgetting their anniversary.

After the ceremony, Connie said all the nerves were gone. Jason wasn’t too nervous before the event. They couple enjoyed punch and cake - a little too much as Jason pushed the piece all over Connie’s face.

Don’t worry. Mom said Connie will get Jason back, probably when he least expects it.

I’ll be back around 11 a.m. or so. Our next wedding is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Off to a smooth start. What do you think? Comment back.
