Our first no show
Well folks we had our first no show. The noon appointment did not show up. I hope they didn’t get into a fight and call the whole thing off. But maybe it was for the best because the 12:15 p.m. appointment was ready to go.
Mark and Angie Adams wanted to get the nerves over with. Both were nervous and emotional. Mark’s teary eyes made Angie’s eyes water, but they made it through. They are a beautiful couple and I’m sure have a great future in front of them.
Angie said Mark popped the question on Christmas Day. He wanted to marry her on Valentine’s Day. The couple was going to get married at the magistrate’s office, but the ladies here talked them into a little more something special. “I’m glad we did it here,” Angie said.
The pastor of this year’s ceremonies is Stuart Noell. He’s very nice, but I’m trying to keep my distance. He tells almost everyone who passes that there are still a few openings for weddings. I’m here to cover the weddings, not tie the knot… At least not yet anyway.
We’ve got a break until 1:15. Check back after then. We’ve still got plenty more nuptials in front of us.
